I met with some guys in Detroit last year but haven't had contact w/ anyone for some time. If any SE's can't find anyone your more than welcome to play with West MI SVT/SHO Society even if you don't drive an SVT. We will be having an autoX the 2nd weekend in Aug.

The August 19th Solo 2 Event is being held at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo MI. I live in Toledo also. If you guys can put together something in SE Michigan Id be glad to attend. Possibly in conjunction with an existing weekly car show? We have a few good sized weekly shows in the Toledo area, Im sure there are a few good sized shows in the Detroit area.

One of the good size shows in the Toledo area is just outside of Maumee, on the Anthony Wayne Trail(St.Rt.25, I believe). Its held @ Parkway Plaza every Friday night, weather permitting. Mostly older cars but everyones welcome. You cant actually see the show from the trail, its behind Parkway Plaza. The other show goers can fill you in on other local events, usually something every night of the week if you look hard enough. Not Detroit sized shows, but decent. Belive me when I tell you, a 99.9% chance youll be the only Contour there, probably the only SVT too.
