Actually the Mazda 6 is looking like it is going to get the 3.0L Duratech V6 with S-VT. Early predictions look like 220hp and 220 torque. It is going to be availble in 3 bodies; 4 door, 5 door and a wagon.
This is looking better and better the more I read about it, and with the old A-plan extending on to Mazda, it has good chance of being a replacement for the SVT when the time comes. That is if I am dissappointed with what Volvo has to offer at the time.
