I have a '97 GL Sport MTX.
No spoiler,
just 8 spoke 15" alloys,
leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob,
sport badging on trunk and floor mats,
and a tach.
1997 GL Sport MTX,
Soon to be the fastest proven Zetec around.

Yes, it was appearance only for 1996-early 98, when one could get a Zetec Sport. The V6 package provided sport tuned suspension and all wheel discs if one got an MTX.
The "sport tuning" rear suspension was on the 1998.5-2000 and the V6 was part of the package these years, too
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!
