What is the offset on those beasts? I am having some minor rubbing issues with a 215/45/17 and my Koni/Eibach combo, so I wouldn't even think of trying to squeeze a 225 in there. Especially if you ever plan on lowering it. Either way you end up going, with 17s you need the 45 series for comfort and looks, helps to fill out the wheel well a bit better.
IMHO, you can't beat the Potenza S-03. Tirerack has them for $144 apiece right now, thats less than I paid for them in March. Quiet as a mouse, and stickier in the wet and dry than the stock KDWs.
