I recently purchased a set of Sumitomo HTZ 225/50R16s for my Maxima and they're incredible. They're quiet, super sticky, comfy, and look sweet (kind of like the old Comp TAs). I don't have near the traction problems I use to. The tires are cheap too ($78). I know they make 17s.
