I only beat KC LX by 0.001 eek

That was a great course. Don't know what we're going to do for the one on the 16th but that's the kind of experience we had in mind.

It was bad a** running my car like that and not worrying about get pulled over. I was surprised that my car handles that good. For my first time and being the FNG I pulled the slowest time. My best time was 80.346 Not to bad I guess. :p laugh

Former CEG'er Peat Romano was in attendance and took a ton of photos. Some very good ones of some of the Contours included.

Yes I would have to say that has been the best course thus far. I'm glad that there were sections of the course where you could really get on it.
My best that WASN'T a freakin DNF was a 80.6.
I have watched all my runs on tape and still haven't found where I went of course. O well there is always next week. Congrats to Demon stompin my a$$ :p . As for Steeda I thought you told me you ran a 76. something and how did you end up running after I left you drove a stang right?
Still getting a Lightning?

Congrats to all that attended.

C ya this Sunday RIGHT?

Thanks to everyone who made the event. It was a blast. One of the longest courses I've ran (.8 mile). Everyone I watched did great and has much to be proud of because there was some high priced european/asian tail that got kicked on Sunday--congrats to all!

Next weekend is the Woodlands, but myself and some other Lightnings will be up in St. Joseph. We've been invited to the Corvette club auto-x there at the casino. I never miss a chance to play with the plastic bodied boys laugh ...

Oh, yeah, almost forgot...times weren't that great, but I managed a 73.40. Left alot out there on the course...including rubber. eek

Hope to see everyone (and more!) again in two weeks when they return to Arrowhead. BTW, afterwards on the 16th there will be a SVTOA meeting at FuddRuckers on Noland. If you can find time, please attend both events as the meeting will have alot of details about the drag event (August 10th) at KCIR and the November 2-day Opentrack event at HPT.
