Hey guess what I saw today while installing my custom cold air intake? Oil inside the banjo and A LOT of it. I think something is fishy here. I am going to drive the car till it explodes and then sell the motor and supercharger for some dough and get a 3L. Hopefully someone at World Ford Challenge this weekend will offer me some good money for the car. The car isnt for sale but if I get a price I have set in my head it's gone. Then here I come SVT Focus.

Sam just food for thought. 10psi of boost might not be any different than the power your putting at 7psi of boost. Boost is a measure of Air flow not actual power. I know you have hit upper 9/10psi with you setup currently but uping it more might not really make a difference. So getting that bigger pully might or might not be worth the wait or money. You air flow out of the the headers and Y will help you out and make a bigger pully more effective so you can inhale and Exhale with ease... Take a look in the past two MM&FF and read up the artical written every month about boost... Give me a call too if ya want. Mystery Mod, Y-pipe.... I know it all ranges on money... Originally posted by PhatSVT: How would it slow me down? I figured a smaller pulley would increase the speed of the belt rotation. Therefore the faster the rotation the more boost you make. My supercharger is capable of 10 psi and only pegging 7 psi right now. With some race gas (100 octane), custom cold air induction, and smaller pulley (i thought) could possibly peg the 10 psi. Someone help me out. I need to know by Wednesday.

Well by upping the boost from 7 psi to 9/10psi is actually a HUGE difference for me. It is dyno and track proven. I have a timeslip here with me running 14.777 @ 94 MPH with 7 psi. When I was making the 9/10 psi you guys saw what MPH I was running. So there has GOT to be a difference. Plus with Drag Radials I would think launching might actually be good. Just let me have fun in my car guys. I just went and picked up the race gas. Going to burn off the 91 octane I have so far and then I will pour it in before the track. So if it rains and we cant get out there I will have it for another day.

You crack me up. Have you seen the new Focus's at dealerships or anything? I think the SVT looks 100x better than our Contours. I am extremely jealous of whoever may buy them. But as I say you can drive my car whenever you want.

Does that car have any kind of knock sensitivity, boost retard or anything?

I ran a 15.2 last fall. I wish I could get this damn Venom working.
I am not expecting good numbers tonight, I am just going for the practice.

I didn't think you have ever had a bigger pulley put on the tour.... I thought all was all stock and when the weather is Nice and cool I know you boost has gone upwards of 10psi.
