Sam-
Haha, I did hear someone yelling Dave, but I didn't see anyone. I thought the weather was great too and traction was good (2.23-2.25 60 foots). It was about 70 degrees all night. HOWEVER, when I got home I looked up the historical weather the humidity and baropressure weren't that good. Humidity was close to 75% all night with the pressure well below 30.00. Not exactly ideal. I'm glad some other people were a bit confused about thier ET/MPHs too. I ran at Mo/Kan the week before and my car was a slug. 85 degrees, near 100% humidity, puddles in the staging lanes, and a different track netted me a best of 15.0@94mph. I was disappointed.
Do you think there's something wrong with the trap speeds in the left lane at KCIR? I'm ALWAYS 2-3 mph slower in the left even if I get the same ET in the right lane (example 14.7@93 vs 14.7@96). I ran the yellow Type R on Friday night. I was in the left lane. We got the same reaction times, I got a slightly better 60', I pulled him the whole way (ie he never closed in). I ran a 14.90@90.5 to his 15.3@92.7 ?!?!? I was pulling him the whole way! It's not possible he was over 2mph faster if I was pulling him on the far end.
I guess I'm gonna have to come out to KCIR on the 15th and make a couple runs.
Dave
