There is NO way that I have found to get your V8 sound out of the contour. There just isn't enough flow to make that noise. Trust me I've had more exhausts on my car than most- stock SVT, Borla, True-duals with magnaflows, Stock SE exhaust. Yes the stock SE exhuast was a temp until I could get the duals here from MI.
Like I said before, if you're going to drop $50 or more on a muffler and another $30 to have it installed you're really fooling yourself and wasting good mod money. If you're intent on buying something just for the sound of it I'd recommend Magnaflow.

Well, honestly that's what im lookin for. My mystique has kinda high miles so im not lookin at doin too much too it. Hopefully this'll hold me over till i find an svt.
*And the vote now is Magnaflow 2, Dynomax 1.*

If thats what you're looking for thats cool, but I see a KKM in your future mod list in your sig. You would be much happier with the sound increase by buying the KKM than by replacing the stock muffler and would see more gains from it. Best of both worlds right there and roughly the same $ would be spent so let me change my vote

So with the kkm i won't even need a new muffler and yet still get the sound im looking for? sounds too good. will the stock exhaust be able to handle the extra air flow?
