Don't do it!
It will change how the MAF reads the incoming airflow and make the readings unstable and erratic. This can lead to lean spots which will cause engine damage not to mention bad driveability problems.
Now streamlining the MAF post might work for you??? As long as you stay away from the sampling hole/tube.
