hey that moose fix that we did on Saturday. well it threw a CEL. i was hoping that was it. i thought the Vortech might had done some damage to something. i took the piece out and the CEL went away. no moose fix for me.

yeah. it worked great but the shifts sucked and the CEL wasn't fun. but thanks for helping me out.

Yeah Sam,
I did the TSB and it cured the moose for me also. After I installed the KKM, moose was so loud I couldn't hear my stereo! Did the TSB and alls quiet.

If the TH/Moose fix caused a MIL, that just means your hole in the plug is to small. Drill it out the next size bigger until the idle stabilizes and a balance is met.

yeah the one Erci gave me first seemed to have done the trick a bit better than the second one which had a smaller hole. kind of afraid to use it now. i will do some testing this weekend.

I just had to drill mine again this week when we hit lower temps in the single digits. I think I'm at 7/32's hole now. It was stubling at throttle tip in and searching a bit for the idle, now with the new hole she runs right again... still no moose mating calls. wink
