I've been a Chrysler/Ford person for several years. You could always wait for the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT with the turbo. Reasonable MPG, very versatile, and tons of stuff out there to "fix it up". Plus the turbo will make a difference in performance over the std engine.
