Here is the skinny. I will be starting my new job on June 1st. It is at Signature L/M I will be doing internet parts and car sales full time. This way I can dedicate more time to the CEG and other clubs. I will be getting a lot of my pay based on parts sales also, so get those orders ready boys. AFAIK, your discount should be anywhere from 23-30 % off of list, more then when I was @ Sentry. This could change but it looks good. You west coast people will be saving money on freight also.

And if any one visits Las Vegas and you are looking for a new car, be sure to look me up. I will give you a great deal. Now I am not the type of person that likes to be a salesman, but you got to do what you got to do. laugh

I will leave all my info when I get it.

Thanks to all of you that sent those great references and Linda told me about most of them. I did not get to see most of them, so if you can leave them below that would be cool.

Talk to all of you soon wink

Linda,
Bill asked his loyal patrons at www.contour.org to send you a little note on his behalf concerning our dealings with him. I've order from Bill on several occasions and he is always courteous. He has gone out of his way to make sure I'm getting the correct part and in good time. All my dealings with him have been over the internet or via phone. Don't let him get away!
Thanks for your time,
-Andy Watson

laugh Congrats!!!!

Congrats Bill. That dealership made a good move - there are lots of us (here and elsewhere) that represent a big market for OEM parts. And not too many catering to us, as seen by the general confusion on who to buy from since you've been gone.

Quote:

It has come to my attention that Bill Jenkins is taking an interview
with your dealership on Monday. I wanted to take a moment to give my
recommendation for hiring Bill.

Over this past summer, I had to replace the engine in my 1998 SVT
Contour. I chose to install a 3 liter engine block with the useable
parts from my old (blown) engine. Although I purchased my block
elsewhere, Bill was recommended to me by members of the Contour
Enthusiasts Group (www.contour.org) as a good parts source for
miscellaneous parts that I would come to need. Bill was very helpful in
determining the correct parts when I called him with some rather vague
descriptions of what I needed, especially when determining if the part I
needed came from the 2.5L or 3.0L engine or was common to both. He took
the time to get it right and even arranged direct overnight shipping
from Ford warehouses if the part was not in stock at his dealership. In
one case, I needed a few small pieces of hardware and we were unsure
which parts were appropriate. He faxed exploded assembly drawings so I
could take them to the shop where the work was being done so we could
determine exactly what I needed.

Based on the attention and care given to my orders, I have purchased any
parts I have needed for my car since then from Bill even though I live
less than 10 minutes from two different Ford dealerships. Compared to
the blank stares and general confusion I commonly receive at my local
Ford dealerships' parts departments, Bill's professionalism and courtesy
is a welcome change.

Congrats, Bill.. Hope to deal with you, soon!
----------------------------------------------Linda Gantverg,

This is being sent in reference to Mr. Bill Jenkins. Bill Jenkins is currently involved in applying for a position as the Internet Coordinator at your place of business.. I would like to take this time to express my thoughts about him, as a professional businessman..

Mr. Jenkins has been, from day one, the most courteous and friendly person I have dealt with. I look forward to dealing with him at any opportunity I have.

I have yet to find another location, or profession which has shown me the type of attitude (helpful, and enthusiastic), or character as he (Mr. Jenkins) has. I would greatly encourage you to seek his help wherever possible, as he is an asset not be found, elsewhere.

I I know that Bill will be of great help to you, and the continued success of your business. Good luck in all you do..

Sincerely,

ET3 Ray Haralson
