I give it another 15-20k befor it dies because it is making more sounds than I can keep up with. I hate to say it but when she dies i'm switching to an eclipse.

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby. There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there. You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one. How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have? You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!

Absolutely no problems, followed Ford's maintenance schedule (severe service) and with the exception of fluid and filter changes, only replacement parts have been sparkplugs at 60K and one set of tires at 40K. Looks like I'll get 60K out of the second set of tires (Michelin Rain Force). I commute 100 miles a day to work, so the Interstate miles are really easy on the car. My last car (a BMW 325) was still running like new at 251K when I traded it for the Mystique. -Mark- '99 Mystique LS all options, pure stock 93,000 troublefree miles (knock on wood!)
