Not really. Shape of the manifold with turbocharging is less of an issue. I think both will work equally well especially since the air is forced. And in that case, everything you wrote above is still relevant.
Now IMRC isn't really an issue with the turbo so that could stay or go depending on how the turbo is sized, piping choices, etc.
