Yep the red one we saw did have the white lettering. You were at the stop light in Liberty getting on I-35 I think.

Don't worry , it happens to the best of us . 872 post later, I still have nothing creative, there is some way to change your name and keep your post count, many people are doing so. Maybe someday I will come up with a cool name that will stick [sigh]

According to the regs it limits front tint to 35% Still no limit on the rears or back windows.

The police will also start a crack down on the same day for any tint darker then that. Since there is no fear of someone having a medical clearance (since the legal limit irregardless is 35%)

So beware. It's not a fixit ticket either I hear. It's a fine for non-compliance. Meaning you can get them repeatedly. I can imagine they plan on stocking up the state coffers with this one!!!

I just had the fronts re-done on my wifes car (had to remove it when we moved from KS) and the guy doing it told me about the details. Because I wanted 20% and he then told me the above part...
I had read about the law change in the paper too and the "increased" awareness of dark tint...

Oh well that sucks, is 35% dark at all? Well the guy that is doing mine is works for a professtional he does it on his part time (hes a UPS driver full time) and makes alot of money tinting windows. I am sure he will know the law and do it right... hopefully. Man i really wanted my windows REALLY dark.. i am pouting now..

I have 5% if even that on the rear sides and back,

Was going to go with 10 % if possible to find a close tint match as far as "color" goes, and do the front visor around 7-8 inches down blacked out or possibly 5% so i can at least see the lights changing.

Up in the air on what i want to do first, KKM or get the fronts tinted,
on one hand i have Performance gain, on the other, It gets so darn hot in my Black SVT, that the windows are becoming a priority.

i went to Liberty High School and have gone to Liberty schools since 4th grade. before that i went to Lawson schools.

yeah that was me. i am usually heading off onto I-35 and heading out to Kansas. Missouri sucks and all the happening stuff is going on in Kansas.

Yes my car is the chestnut metallic color so it is very dark too and it get SOO hot! I am glad my interior is grey!
