Get it changed now! Your mother shouldn't be driving with a compromised windshield. It's probably flexible and everytime she goes on the freeway the aero force flexs it and cracks it more. I got mine done for less than $170 out of pocket tax included no insurance claim involved. My deductible was $300. I was more than happy to pay $170 for a new windshield. They came to my work parking lot and fixed it while I was at work. Never missed a beat. My insurance gave me the shop name, it's the one they use.
