Wow...like that Fusion. Needs a little less Don Davis on the back though

I can't see any resons why Ford couldn't take my car and label it an SVT Fusion. With some ground effects like the above, I'd a bought it in a heartbeat.

Those tail light housings are still the single ugliest design element of the Fusion.

I DO like that kit. Tasteful and understated. Wheels definitely have to go though! Still needs more 5sp MTX.

Old-fashioned. 6sp MTX with a deep overdrive for better fuel economy on the highway.

I like tanks...

So what do you think of the Chrysler 300's styling?

That's not tank. That's brick. They really don't have much for flowing lines or curves in the styling. I like curves. They over-did the tall door, window slit thing a bit, and I don't really like the big wheel well openings. The grill is also too large, verticle, & gawdy. Overall I can take it or leave it. They seem to have been targeting a male audience for that car, & I just don't fit into the 'Macho-man' scene.

The Fusion seems to have a little more contemporary flair to it. Can't quite put my finger on it... I guess I like a more balanced, conservative style. I did not like the tails on that car, or the wheels, but the body kit worked for me and that was what the original post was about.

Gee guys, I didn't think this would be so controversial.

I don't think the ground effects package is perfect, but it isn't bad. I think the tailpipe panel and pipe exit needs a little work. I also think the wheels are just plain wrong.

You may have noticed the white Hyundai Sonata parked behind. That was my rental car. Anyone that continues to think that Hyundai is a joke is in for a rude awakening. It is a great performing car, handles well, and is solidly built. And something it will do that my Coutour SVT will not do is burn rubber without inducing wheel hop.

The Hyundai Sonata is my top pick for those wanting a comfy and soft mid-size sedan. I would place it's cousin the Kia Optima higher if it offered the same 3.3 litre V6.

There is no intelligent reason to buy a Camry with this Sonata on the market.

IIRC, one of the Mondeos (ST24, maybe) has almost that same type of tailpipe exit panel, and when pics of that got posted, people went nuts for it.
