Well I hope you didn't get any "Great Stuff" on any of your exterior paint! That stuff is STRONG! I made the mistake of sealing up a new front door frame on my house with that stuff, without any gloves!
Got a little bit on the carpet, and it was impossible to get out.
Sorry I couldn't answer your question. I just wouldn't have used it on automotive paint.
