Westley's Bleche White. Spray It on, Hose it off. Whatever don't come off the first time, spray it on again and use a scrub brush. An old wash mitt will work good too. If you buy it, buy the one with the trigger, not the pump-it's a pain in the ass. Follow up with some Maguire's tire shine crap, stand back and enjoy.

Don't take the clearcoat off! Just take the wheels off and hand clean them throughly, apply wheel polish on them. Then use a clean wet terry cloth to wipe it clean everytime you wash your car. I do that, and my wheels are shiny all the time (after cleaning them of course) without using any wheel cleaner product.

Try P21S or go to your local walmart and get Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner. As always your best bet is to not use anything, but sometime you need something stronger then car wash.

99% of the time you can just take a rag and wipe off the brake dust.

To get more of a shine out of them, and to get off road crap, I use Meguire's. I also got a wheel brush that makes the whole procedure a bit quicker.

For me, I use Castrol's SuperClean to get the hard stuff off. Make sure the wheels are cool (haven't driven it lately) and the haze won't show up. Then, after they are cleaned, I put a coating of wax or polish on them. You won't believe how easy the brake dust comes off the next few washes. All you will need is some regular car soap. cool

Meguiar's Gold Class. I used to use their Hot Rims with good results too.

I've used Black Magic Wheel Polish this spring/summer with great results. Clearcoat safe. Gets rid of all the crap with a little bit of elbow grease.
