The one on eBay doesn't have that.
Am I correct in thinking that the military never sold the kits to the public? I thought I read that somewhere but I could be wrong.

I love this line: Quote:
If you need your wifes permission, please get it in advance. If this truck looks familiar to you it's because it "sold" the other day on ebay to a fellow for full price, and then his wive said no (had him neutered). Stupid broad just doesn't know what she's missing.
It makes me Though I know I couldn't pull it off at my home either

he spend half an hour trying... couldnt do it.
You know what's funny about that...
Back at my old base, the CE guys rolled one on a flat dirt road. Apparantly were doing 35-45 MPH and tried to make a sharp turn, sliding and the tires grabbing some hard dirt.
Ended up rolling completly on the nose (not touching the cab at all) ejecting the person in the turret position.
The 5th guy was lucky that he was ejected, otherwise it could have killed him.
Four Wheeler Magazine got one to roll in a very similar fashion. Flat dirt road, got a little sideways, and BAM! Rolled right over.
I would have one the $20

It sucks that you could never register it or use it on public roads, but it would definitely make a kick ass weekend offroader.

I'd slap a vin on it from a regular h1 (though that could be a little expensive depending on how you do it). Sure it's illegal, but round here, ain't noone would know.

with the H1 you probably could. The rest are all garbage. the h2 is weak and celarly not designed for true off road use. google some vids...there's plenty of h2's with their guts falling out and breaking apart. disgusting.
Ignorance. I can also find videos of plenty of modified jeeps and other vehicles breaking on trails, but I won't get into it.
I have driven all 3. I like all three vehicles and I understand why GM killed the H1.
