Dave, what you have said is correct. But the SVT is set more aggressively than most cars. With timing and compression, the strong the octane is of 94/96, the better off the car is going to run. Especially with mine. I have noticed that with the chip. the chip will also advance the car more. When I run at the track I also plan on making one run through 3rd, not shifting to 4th.
