Alright it's been a while since we had a meet so lets get one going. I'm thinking one of the following: When: Aug. 27 @ 12pm Where: MOA, East parking lot at the top. here's my educated guess. some pull out 3L from an escape, oval port heads. (P&P). Torsen diff, Spec Stage3. stock axles. its silver. the stock motor only had 50k on it, its a real clean car. the only downfall, the poor sap is gonna try to run a 100 DRY shot of ZEX nitrous. all that work for nothin  j/k tony you rock bro

well man if you know anything about nitrous you will not run a 100 dry shot of ZEX like you said you were going to when i first met you. i dont know everything, but seeing as i have used nitrous every weekend since the spring, and i talk to people that have used it since the beginning of nitrous systems and i read up on it i probably know more about nitrous than you do. if you are going to run it the way you say, your gonna blow your car up. i wish you would ask someone that uses it quite a bit possibly a drag racer or someone at a shop that deals in nitrous they would talk you right the hell out of a dry shot on your car. dont give me that intake manifold BS either it doesnt puddle if you spray with the correct bottle pressure, and use a good nozzle. and as for knowing as much as i think i do, i guess i cant. but we can race? hahahahah

Sweet Mike, I am finishing up on the painting of my interior and I am done with my tail tint! It looks great! Only thing, I applied about 3-4 coats of clear over em and they are still a flat finish...Maybe it is the clear that I used, but it would be nice if I could get them shiny. All in all, they look really nice. Can't wait til Saturday, I will make sure and take some pics this time around.

sigh  . another meet in MN that is waaay to far for me to drive. Although I wouldn't trade it for anything, it can get old living way up here. I gotta drive 5 hours to the airport for crying out loud!!! We gotta have one up here in the boondocks sometime!!! We can go drive abondoned highways, setup a auto-x on the ice where they plow the ice roads in the winter, act like a bunch of rednecks with cars, or do whatever (theres so few people almost anything goes)!! But have fun at the meet guys, I take a road trip or 2 to the cities every semester depending on whats going on so maybe I can plan it around a meet sometime.

Or just let us know when that will be and arrange for a meet during that time  Or maybe we could figure out a place thats halfway... We should see if we could get something going at BIR and get some road racing done that would be fun.

Yeah...that would be sweet! Although, I know for sure that I would be hesitant to take my car on a track without a nice brake package... And btw Mike, I was rummaging through the garage today and remembered something. At the last meet, when we were leaving, I noticed that one of the bulbs in your third brakelight was out - 2nd or 3rd from the left... But no fear, I have a bag full of spares that I pulled from the junkyard, so I will bring that bag Saturday. I will also have 3 sets of pre-98 sails if anyone wants them...no one seems interested on here and I only paid $12 for all three sets so I might as well give em out for free. I don't really feel at a loss...haha. But anywho, see ya in two days dudes.

Wednesday night's "Street Legal Drag Racing" at BIR. Lets do it I like going to BIR and it's probably halfway for anyone in the state to meet there lol

Your stock CSVT brakes would be fine at the track, in the 1/4 mile with a more or less stock CSVT you're only going to be hitting 85-90 mph and they allow plenty of stopping distance. I mean if those Top Alcohol Drag cars can slow down from 250 mph in the same distance i think we can do it from 90

Haha...well I was actually referring to a road course...which is what I originally thought everyone was talking about... You have to excuse my lack of knowledge of my surroundings up here, I am still finding things out up here even though it has been 2 and a half years since I moved...

I was talking about a road course. Donnybrooke Performance organized road racing events for my Camaro club (MN-Fbody Club) and while I never went to one they were pretty badass. After the first few touring laps it was left wide open to you (aka go as fast as you think you can handle). I would like to do something similar, as well as drag racing. So with that said I would also be down for going up there on a Wed night for the street drags.

Another great turn out! This time I was smart enough to take the camera out of my car and use it...     And many thanks to Sprebound for the FREE pre98 sail panels and third brake light bulbs!! Sorta worked out as a meeting door prize haha.

That was a sweet meet until the renta-piggies spoiled the fun... And Mike, did you get that bulb in yet? Did it work? And I still have two pairs of sail panels if anyone wants them...maybe at the next meet. All in all, had a good time and met some new peeps.

Great turn out guys. I made it home without any problems so things seem to be going well with the kit still. I'll tighten up the belt today and see if that gets rid of the slipping.
