I just noticed for the first time the differences in spelling. Its the first time that it registered to me that they are different.
So what is a disk, and what is a disc?
(and i mean primarily in the electronics realm)

I always took it that a disk was short for diskette as either a 3.5 or 5.5 saqueare thing. And disc was a circle thing.

Well, I can tell you for computers...
Disc is for CDs/DVDs/etc
Disk is for Diskettes
Then you've got your brake disc on your car.

So maybe round circular objects like a discus are discs, like DVDs, CDs, etc. And diskettes are called disks. funny how discs replaced discs.
so is a harddrive a disc or disk?
