I have a 10" random orbital...works just fine, no problems. I put on and took off Meguiars #9 swirl remover, then Meguiars Mirror Glaze the Meguiars #16 Professional Paste wax. No swirls at all. Of course there are some areas you have to do by hand like under the mirrors, the wing (if so equipped), etc.
