I'm thinkin as long as it's random orbit you'll be okay.
I wouldn't wanna use the pad that's been on it for the years it hasn't been in used, though. And don't mix pads with different products (ie: separate pads for polishes, compounds, waxes, etc.)
May not be as good as the PC but who cares, it's free
