not all public education is worthless. i attended a public school (though it was in a small municipality and only about 700 students in 9, 10, 11, and 12th grade combined). granted, we had our share of idiots and those voted most likely to flip my burgers in 10 years, but really who doesn't.
The same. If the students respect the teacher (and vice versa!) worthwhile education can occur. I had several teachers who clearly loved teaching, and for the most part stayed in honors-AP courses where the students liked learning. (The exception was History, which was in a sense nice because I got to interact with multiple crowds while in school and wasn't entirely deemed a nerd by others since they saw how poorly I did in that subject, lol!)
Honestly, I am surprised you of all people place such a negative stereotype among anybody based simply on a factor such as his/her educational background.
