I just want people to learn their contractions. Your vs. you're. Its vs. it's. If you CAN'T turn the word into "you are" or "it is" and have it still work in the sentence, then it doesn't deserve an apostophe! e.g. "The dog went to it's cage" translates to "The dog went to it is cage"

I must admit in my last post I really mispelled it. I don't have a spell check on this computer (haven't installed Word yet...), so I used some online spell check and that is what it gave me. It's amazing how much awful grammar and spelling has become part of everyday language.
