No, I just find it anoying ... all modern camera's store all that information and MUCH more in the file header. For example, download the file to your desktop and then do a right click, select properties and then select the summary tab and you will see:
Width: 1024 pixels Height: 768 pixels Horizontal Resolution: 72 dpi Vertical Resolution: 72 dpi Bit Depth: 24 Frame Count: 1 Equipment Make: SONY Camera Model: CYBERSHOT Color Representation: sRGB Flash Mode: Flash Focal Length: 18 mm F-Number: F/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/100 sec. ISO Speed: ISO-141 Metering Mode: Center Weighted Average Light Source: Unknown Exposure Program: Normal Exposure Compensation: 0 step Date Picture Taken: 8/10/2006 9:52 AM
BTW, with a hex editor, you can edit all this information
Yes, but this way, I don't have to perform a download + 3-click operation just to see a date.
And, the information is there should I decide to print it, as well, and it's not easily editable with a hex editor.
Function before fashion.

I just fixed an SVT with the same problem. Car still moved with some teeth missing but made a fairly loud noise and jerked when it got to the missing teeth section. It now has a Torsen installed and will be my winter beater for a while.
