1996 Gl 2L Auto. 97K miles
Read my check engine light...and got a code for the O2 sensor. I know I have an upstream and downstream sensors.
One old boy said..don't worry about..check engine always that way..or you will strip your threads changing it.
Another guy says it will make your engine to rich..lose gas miles..and eat up the catalytic converter.
Is replacing and o2 sensor that important? And can you damage the threads taking it in and out. Thanks.
