Granted I haven't drivven a 400whp srt4, I have driven a near 300whp one and the torque steer, although present, really ain't that bad. For a stock differential on a stock/near stock car, Dodge did nothing wrong. My escort has more torque steer than a stock/near stock srt4.
Oh, and 2.7 60' sucks. Like posted above, running on street tires won't get you anywhere fast, but..... there are reasons to be able to launch decently and know how to get on it with street tires.
