Now that I think about it, there is a slight difference in the situation. The Contour was originally designed to have 'some' driving experience included - European handling, available V-6 from day 1 & all. Poor Ford marketing & nagging problems did the Contour in (which did very well in Europe). If I've got my facts straight, the Neon was introduced as an econo-box & was then modded to become the SRT-4 - kinda an afterthought to capture some tuner market. That said, they did one helluva job with with the SRT-4!
If I was 20 something again, I'd be lookin' at one. Unfortunately, I'm 40-something so my preference of vehicles is taking me in a different direction than most CEGers

So, that SRT-4 has WELL OVER 400hp and 400lbs tq at the crank! If so, how in the world do you drive/launch that thing? Is it your EDD?

Nice car. I almost died in one when my buddy totaled his, but they're still nice....from a distance Check out www.slowboyracing.com for parts. They have a lot of goodies for SRT-4's. I def say get the front mount and the crash bar (saved my buddies engine after the accident, it's still good and is awaiting a new shell to be transplanted into).
98.5 SVT E0 Black/Midnight Blue
All stock for now except the Cross Drill & Slotted Rotors and the Pioneer/Eclipse/Audiobahn system......more to come in the future.

Saying your car is a "bit" faster than your old CSVT is like in the movie "Airplane II" when the flight attendent said we're a "tad of coarse" and she went onto to answer what a "tad" was and it was just a million miles Thats about the difference between 171 hp and 389 Congrats on the new ride

To run anything respectable, slicks are a MUST!
With slicks they can be very fast.

If it's making just under 400hp/tq at the wheels it most definitly already has a larger front mount. I didn't look at the pictures on the first page closely, but I'd bet it does.
Slicks are definitly a must for these cars if you want a decent time. Where you're at (and I'm at for all that matter) it's the difference between a 12 second pass and an 11 second pass at relativly close trap speeds.
Actually I'd be willing to bet I could pretty much list off everything you have, haha. I've got everything your car does but my injectors are smaller (I'm guessing you have RC750's) and my intake manifold and throttle body will be ported next week. Other than that we're probably the same with different brand components.
Edit: On further inspection it does look like that's the stock IC. Is that picture old? If not, did he give you the dyno sheets along with the car? If he didn't I don't think you have as much power as he told you. If he did you're sitting on an easy 25 horsepower. If you have any questions about anything send me a PM. I've got a 50 trim with a whole bunch of other crap.
