I don't know if that is a factory option or aftermarket job. Believe it or not, there is a HUGE aftermarket for cloth roofs. The manufacturers actually try to discourage the aftermarket installation of these things now, but dealers and aftermarket installers make a killing on them. I think they're fugly. Especially on a contemporary car.

They are done by dealers/aftermarket companies working for dealers. I've seen one or two.

There is a Pre-98 Contour around here that has the cloth roof. I did a double take the first time a saw it. I didn't know at that time they did that on some of them.

This is barely "acceptable" on cars like Crown Vics/Grand Marq and Town Cars', but lately I've seen a couple on the new Zepher, the Lincoln LS and Caddy STS/CTS's  IMO there should be a law on books to elminate this "automotive grafitti"

One of the FLM dealers has a zephyr with a cloth top and white walls.
All it's missing is some curb scrapers and some gold D's

There's a Monte Carlo w/ a cloth roof, white walls and gold trim in my apartment complex.  Surprised the POS hasn't been stolen yet...
