i'm not a post whore, so my post count doesn't rocket every night i log on to ceg. therefore having a certain number of posts to be able to post wouldn't be fair to all ceg'ers.
i say just play it safe, i know ebay has a fraud mail checker.. if anyone on ceg thinks they have a fraud email or a scam, they should just post the email and let fellow ceg'er rule it out.

I think some of you are missing the point. People do not list in the classifieds to scam people, they contact people that are trying to sell something. Therefore limiting who can post classified ads will not stop people from contacting you

there have been a few threads in which someone was offering to sell stuff in the classifieds and it just turned out to be a scam. there was even a thread recently.
