Summer brings a new challenge to climbers in Michigan. And the kids who sometime keep us from climbing trips. Or, better yet, go with us.
We don't have mountains or good crags in Michigan, but we have trees. And swamps. One could, it so motivated, build a platform in a tree 47 feet up. Another 3 feet up you could hang a cable. If that cable was 500 feet long, you could span a swamp. Climbing up requires some effort. Getting down is the fun part!
And to give some real perspective, a few low quality videos. My kids and I'm the one filming the last run...
