There is defintely a shift going on with the Contours. The posters on the CEG and car owners are getting younger and younger.
There are still a bunch of true Contour enthusiasts around, heaven help them. JK.
My wife and I bought our '98 Duratec brand new in 1998. We also had a '96 Zetec for a few years like '01 and '02. For us the amount of repairs that were constantly needed and the high cost of those repairs made it not feasible to continue being Contour owners.
But my wife's little brother who was 10 in 1998 always liked our car. He just bought a CSVT from a ceg'er and is trying to keep it running. He loves it though.
Our family is a good example of the shift in Contour ownership.
