Hey there guys, just wanna know, what does the total parts for doing the rear disc conversion usually cost on average from junk yards for the essential parts, and new OEM rotors and pads? If you could please post maybe a range of pricing because from what I'm seeing this looks like a pretty expensive mod, thanks again CEG.

Here is the brake-down ( ) of what I have paid: $125 for the calipers/knuckle stuff $50 for the stainless steel lines $50 for the rotors $25 for semi-metallic pads $8 for brake fluid So a little over $250. All depends on where you want to get the stuff, and if you want to upgrade to anything.

Where's the money for the new e-brake cable Matt? Didn't you get a new e-brake cable for the disc brake conversion?
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Yeah around $300, with the new stuff being pads, rotors, and brake cables. Jack stands would work fine, I'm sure.

I ended up paying an extra 100, because I couldnt get the the old drum brake lines disconnected... that and I needed an alignment.
so make sure you have a bit of spare cash if things dont work out.
yes... I am a cougar owner trolling on your board.
