First, I'd tell him the "Spirit of Ebay" is to sell your crap! Mission accomplished!
Then, you should reiterate to him that your auction clearly said (and I assume it did), "buyer responsible for all shipping and handling fees." I would provide him a copy of the customs receipt so he knows you're not marking it up 200% and you're just charging him actual fees. That, in my mind, fulfills your obligation to him. If they can't read, then they have no business bidding!
