Yup I like that idea, also you don't need both of those cars, why don't you just hand the SRT-4 over, I will be more than happy to take it off your hands.
I almost bought a black one with Stage 1 and I forget which blowoff valve about 3 years ago, but the rents didn't want me to have payments while in school, which I could have easily made because I was working....Oh well the tour is still a fun daily driver.

It's funny that I instantly recognized your driveway and I've never even met you So many nice cars have sat in that driveway. That's a pretty nice Skittle, I'd drive it.

Why do people insist on telling other this? There is no requirement that you have to have a Contour in your thread.

i think that is why. granted all vets and regular members know that it doesn't apply anymore, the new guys that pay attention to what a forum is for (that is a good thing) see that it 'doesn't belong' here.
anything CAR related can be posted in here (granted it follows the forum rules).

The SRT-4 is the first Chrysler product that I have ever owned, and really, only because Daimler bought them is why I even considered buying a Chrysler product. I wasn't and still am not disappointed. This car has been one heck of a ride so far.
I hear you on the payments, as SRT-4's cost at new, was same as or more than the SVT Contours when they were new.

On top of all that, I was going to have to pay off like 7 g's over 3 or 4 years, but they still wouldn't budge. This was all possible due to a real nice down payment. They had cleared me for the loan and everything, but I wasn't cleared at home, kinda sucked. Part of it was because the dealer wasn't going to give me enough on a trade in for my Mustang, which I later sold for about 2g's more. I bought the SVT cash before the Mustang was sold.

That's strange, cause 7g's over a period of time, really isn't a lot of risk for the financing company or bank. I guess, it was your total debt ratio, inclusive of your other debts, why the approval didn't go through. There are still some low mileage SRT-4's around, holding their value though, none the less, they will be around a while if you decide to go look for one down the road.

I got cleared for the bank loan and everyhting, I am saying my parents wouldn't let it happen because I was in school and they didn't want me to have to worry about car payments.....still a mama's boy I know, but I am back in school and rents free here. Sure down the road I shall pick something up that is nice.
