I can attest to what sigma is saying. In highschool I worked in the lube bay of a car dealer and we serviced tons of cars on a daily basis.
I knew some of the kids that worked there did not change the oil on vehicles they serviced. They would change the oil filter, but not the oil.
However some of the idiots that worked there didn't even do that and were eventually caught when the customer came in pissed still having a Jiffy Lube oil filter on their vehicle.

LOLERSKATEZ
I messaged him questioning why he had jiffy lube do the oil change and not do it himself... this is how he responds..
"And I am required to respond to a certain aliasjerk1337 ? For those who need to know, Read the ad if you can. It should explain most everything. I drained the oil and changed the filter, ran it for a few miles then I took it in to Jiffy lube to have all the fluids topped off and oil and filter changed. We, in san diego do not have dirt streets to drain our oil into. Therefore oil handling is left to oil change facilities."

I retract my previous statement. This guy is a tard. Still see nothing wrong with someone wanting to spend extra money to have someone else do it. It's to simple for me to let someone else handle it.

ok..so he drained the oil and changed the filter... then drove it for a few miles and then had jiffy bewb change the oil and filter.
yet he cant change the oil where he is because he doesn't have dirt streets, even though he states he drained the oil... i am confused....

Plus he states that he knows what he is doing... but when someone asks him about the suspension he pulls the "I dunno" out.
Q: Lower suspension, do they cut the springs? or modified the suspension (springs and shocks, what kind? do you konw if it has a Limited slip Diff? Can I drive home to MN? M Aug-01-06 A: I do not know how it has been lowered. I think there is competition springs available for the Miata. All I know is it handles like a go kart and I could not get floor jack under car unless I drove it on 2 x 10 first. I would take this car anywhere for a ride. It is reliable for me and sounds good. It rides very tight and firm.

Wait, did this guy just drive some miles with the oil drained? I thought it was not good for the engine?

I'm sorry my post apparently sucks, but I found it fishy that he had the ability (and space) to swap an engine, but not change the oil...? Also, Jiffy Lube isn't bad?!?!?! Like when they told my friend that his oil filter "didn't look dirty" so they didn't replace it (still charged him until I started yelling), sorry, if you can't do it yourself, find a friend who has a garage and the tools (uh, what, a funnel, a wrench, a jack, and an oil pan for the used oil) taking it to a shady place to save 10-15 minutes of your time when you can't be assured they are actually doing it correctly isn't worth it IMO.
