That sounds like a bad IMRC. Failing when it gets hot.

Mine did the same thing a year ago. When it got hot it would lose the ability to hold the secondaries open and they would flutter.
It took a while for me to track down the reason why. (3 Ford dealers had no clue, not that that is a big surprise in the least :rolleyes: )
