my cruise control is not working, i checked plug coming out of clockspring, no ohm reading for on switch, off switch was in range, cruise switch was in range, no ohm reading for reset or set speed. horn works, airbag seems fine, does this problem sound like the clockspring gone bad or the switches themselves? 95 contour se

If the clockspring goes bad, the airbag light will flash and the horn will not work. Check fuse for the cruise control first.

Edit. Also check Fuses 22 and 23.

As a small note:

The clockspring CAN go bad and cause singular failures. (no cruise, but working horn, no horn but working cruise, etc. ) but it is VERY uncommon.
