There are actually NO good statiscs for dog bites by breed as gross physical characteriscs are the only way to identify most breeds of dogs. Even UKC/AKC experts have problems identifying the differences between a great many APBTs and Staffordshire Terrier breeds. What little numbers DO exist rarely back up the assertion that APBTs, ST, Rotts and Dobies "have more incidents" of aggressive behavior. Over the last 30 years, very media frenzies have been whipped up and the normally statisics-bound insurance industry has stupidly followed the media inspired hate mongering.

Your own comment is laced with incosistencies. Once second you say that they are more likely to have "incidents" and the next you said they are some of the sweetest dogs you ever met...which is it?
