OP wadeness Newbie W Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 8	Somebody will probably tell me that it's the Texas heat, but has anyone experienced a low-life cycle on batteries on SVT Contours. I am on my 2nd battery in less than 3 years, just out of the blue it just went out. Wondered if it was a heating problem for those who haven't relocated their batteries to the trunk. 2000 SVT Contour 2.5L HO Wade

Test the alternator. Engine running. Voltage should be 14 to 14.5 volts. "Always do the cheap and easy ones first." 1996 V6 ATX 96K miles
