For people living on the economy I can see... but on base, fuel prices are comparable to the more expensive prices in the states...
I pay $0.86USD/L for Premium (RON 98 || (R+M)/2 93), which is $3.27USD/gallon.
Off base for the same gas is 1.42ââ??¬/L, which is $6.84USD/gallon... all taxes.
