'930 slant nose for that Miami Vice feel.

No interest what so ever in a non factory slant cab.
A 993 with average mileage and hokey aftermarket body panels/tail, turbo script on a non turbo car says run like the wind...
the red 993 is listed as fwd? What other surprises lurk there in?
Both SCM and Excellence value the 1985 at ~$25K (+10 to 15% for low mileage). So, $27,500 - $28,750 would seem reasonable. The car truely is near mint.
Having said all that, I would probably offer up to $26,000 max.
More info:
1985 Carrera Coupe Guards Red over Brown Leather Sunroof Headlight washers 16" Fuchs (black centers) Most records near mint body - no dings, dents or rust clean interior (Mild cracking on seats and very slight dash warp) All guages work HVAC untested, but fan works... Power drivers seat newer (70% left) Yoko A008 Power windows 21,8xx miles WPOAB0913FS120642 Asking $29,000 (independant dealer)
What would you offer for this car, assuming no skeletons and a passing PPI? Thius car has averaged barely 1,000 miles a year!

Coupe for me please. However, that is one hot 993 Targa at a very reasonable price. I hear you on the comfort/refinement of the newer cars, but there is something magical about the older, lighter cars. After an couple of hours of reading this evening, I'm going to pass on the '85 Carrera. It's really tight, but the interior color isn't me and someone else will be willing to ante up more than I would for the car. The car will no doubt get some attention from the purists out there as it is so clean and has so few miles on it. Bongers 'Data Book' and Paternie's 'Red Book' show the car as an "F" programme fully loaded except for the M630 "Police Option"
