)Bondurant no longer uses the Contours (though a few are still around at their facility) They use Modified Crown Vics (w/ manual transmissions and Cobra motors) as instructor cars, and modified Mustang GTs and Cobras for student cars. They also have a fleet of single seat formula Fords for school use. When I was there they still had a single taurus still in use as a skid car, but the rest of the skid cars were mustang GTs. Never saw a single Escort in Bondurant trim.
