^#@^#!!! YOU CANADIAN GOVERMENT, you can all rott in hell you god forbidden stupid ass fat wallet [censored]
I hate this goverment so much, that I'm leaving this god damn stupid country, to live with my dad in ohio... can't take this [censored] anymore, our taxes keep rising... I'm paying 4300 a YEAR alone on my house, my hydro/heat/water is through the roof... gas prices (are high for everyone, but over here there scorching high because of more taxes) oh not to mention my tuition went up 4+ grand. (even after our fairy PM said he would lower them)
well the house is on the market, and I'm tranfering my job to ohio, good riddance Canada, and your stupid currupt goverment
and trust me guys, the states is NOT worse... my dads got it a hell of alot easier in Ohio. (I'm not worried about health care, already got my insurance down there ready)
END OF RANT.
(this explains why I haven't posted in a while, also had to sell my civic and buy a topaz.. yep sad I know)

venting is good It's good to hear you've got your health insurance taken care of. btw $4,300/yr in real estate tax doesn't sound bad to me. That's what I's payin'.

paid 150 bucks.. put about 400 into it to get it on the road, I still miss my civic like crazy, its now in winnipeg somewhere.
either way 4300 a year on a 1900 sq ft 3 year old home is way to much for me... and the sad part is, it keeps rising
what makes me more angry is as soon as I leave for the states canada is cutting my citizenship, they will not let me carry a dual citizenship.. which drives me up the wall, but oh well.. screw them
so I plan on living with my dad for a bit, as he has a huge house.. then eventually buying my own house, I wonder what the market is like down there.

For a socialist gov't system, $4300 CAD isn't that bad. I pay about $5500 USD and most of that money is wasted and I don't qualify for any gov't assistance programs. It's your job to put people in office that know how to spend your money properly. If there was less waste, your taxes should go down. How much of your paycheck is "garnished" for the gov't? What is your sales tax, gas tax, alcohol/tobacco tax (if any?) If money is your main concern, you have to look at all the angles. Cananda might not be so bad then. You don't even need air conditioning so your electric bills are WAY cheaper than down here.

Consider moving to a state that has no State Income Tax. No reason to let big gov'ment(sic) get any more of your moolah than they already do! Texas and Wyoming (among a few others - Google it if you really want to know) FTW!

We don't need A/C here in Canada!? Are you nuts, it easily hit 45C (95F) with 98% humidity here in southern Ontario during the summer months. THAT calls for A/C. I guess the grass is always greener EH.
