The problem with that kit car, IMO is the engine they are using. I mean do you really want a pushrod motor in a trackday car. I guess you can do it if you are like the NASCAR guys and tune it for that, but an off the shelf Chebby 2.8 or 3.0 v-6, barf!



Yeah, but a 3.4L crate engine with Edelbrock/Holley on top? The torque that it puts out is ridiculous for a car that size.



For the price, I think I'd much rather get a Focus RS built. Modern Ford 4.6L V-8, A/C, protection from the elements, AND they build it FOR YOU for $30k. Supply a Focus & the price is about $25k built.
