chicagoceg is a fairly new site so the member numbers are still low. It just needs some time.
I think it has its own charm and I enjoy it.

I wouldn't say CEG is better than this site or that. It's different. I will say I like it better than others I've been to, but it's also my first, so I've got a huge loyalty.

out of all the other forums i go to, this is the only one that automaticaly jumps to the last unread posting.

That is a nice feature, and it seems to work most of the time.

It's really the people though. For the most part they really are here to get and give advice and help. Not to posture and brag!

You should have seen CEG 4-5 years ago when Contours cost more. We didn't have morons who scraped up enough cash to buy a $900 Contour beater.

Usually, the cheaper the car, the lower the class. Of course, once you get UP to a certain point you start dealing with snobbery

ur serious?

He must be, I'm doing the exact same thing. I've changed my Mystique for the Focus ST in April of last year, but none of the Focus forums even comes close to the quality of CEG - even with the occasional flame wars.

Oh, how I wish for a FEG! :-)

Traded in my CSVT for my FSVT and yea i still come here instead of focaljet.

The forums of CEG are just designed perfectly. I go to other forums and I want to smash my head into a wall by the time I'm done. The searching or even just browsing the forums is such a pain on other sites. They use tons of graphics, wierd colors, large fonts, etc. It makes it difficult on the eyes and slows down the computer.

I will honestly say that if CEG wasn't still around, I would of been done with my SVT a very long time ago and moved on to another car. Without CEG, I'm dead in the water on mods and repairs.

I'm so addicted to CEG, that when I complete a list of mods I want done on my car and my other 2000, I'm taking a very long break from here. I can't control browsing the forums whenever I have any free time and spending money like crazy. If I see something new, I gotta have it.

Theres something wrong with that????

CCEG was set up to BS, Kevin and I found the cheapest web host we could to have a place fot the Chicagoland CEGers have there own little place in the sun. After everyone starte getting rid of thier Contours, or watched them go up in flames, the site was changed to Chicago Car Enthusiast Group for lack of Contours.

Not only that, but it's a great place for me to host my sixty-trillion pictures I have...
